Norberto Miranda Feldhahn, born in 1985 in Mexico City (CDMX) and based in Guadalajara MX, engages in a creative practice situated at the intersection of participatory design, arts and crafts, maker culture, DIY (Do It Yourself), and a concern for sustainability and social interaction towards ecological and cultural shifts. His work provides critical responses through collaboration and empathy embedded in a material reality, manifested in objects, products, and ephemeral architecture.
His projects culminate in immersive aesthetic experiences, earning accolades such as the German Design Award (German Design Council), the Work of the Year award in 2018 (CNN - Expansión), and an honorable mention in the National Biennial of Young Architects (FCARM). Recognized as a best practice by IberMuseus, his integrative, playful, and immersive work for content appropriation has garnered acclaim.
Since 2018, he is transitioning his practice into sustainability by utilizing discarded materials through Bolsas Bolsón, an upcycling initiative that develops strategies and techniques for working with low-density plastics. Nominated for the circular economy award by What Design Can Do (Ikea Foundation) in 2023.
