Norberto Miranda (MX)

Norberto Miranda Feldhahn (Mexico City, 1985) is a Mexico-based designer working across participatory design, craft and material research. His practice develops collaborative responses to ecological and cultural challenges through objects, functional systems and ephemeral architecture grounded in hands-on experimentation. His work has received international recognition, including the German Design Award, Work of the Year (CNN–Expansión, 2018), and an honorable mention at the National Biennial of Young Architects, and has been identified as a best practice by IberMuseus.

Since 2018, his work has centered on circular material systems through Bolsas Bolsón, an initiative that recovers and transforms low-density plastic waste into structural, functional and cultural applications. In 2023, the project was nominated for the Circular Design Award by What Design Can Do (IKEA Foundation), consolidating his transition toward material innovation rooted in sustainability and territorial impact.
